About JFT Precision Fabrication, Inc.

JFT Precision Fabrication, Inc. was founded in 1995, in Louisville, KY, as a general fabrication and field service company, by John F. Thornton. The progression toward the aggregate industry took place over the next few years, first servicing ready-mix concrete companies, then crushed stone, sand and gravel, and cement producers.

JFT took on its first capital equipment line for the state of Kentucky in 2000, with Terex|Simplicity. Soon after, JFT was awarded the opportunity to distribute their Simplicity in Tennessee as well. In the coming years JFT acquired the Terex|Canica, Terex|Cedarapids, and several other product lines in both states, while becoming a regional provider of turnkey material processing plants.

Organization capabilities include complete plant layout and flow design and analysis; structural support and conveyor engineering implementing AutoCAD and 3-D designs; light to heavy structural fabrication in a facility equipped with the latest CNC metal processing equipment; field installation crews equipped with all necessary cranes and lifts; and a replacement parts warehouse, and service technicians to provide customers with reliable and expedient aftermarket support.

JFT is a privately held company that currently employs approximately thirty team members in all areas of administration, engineering, sales, fabrication, installation, and service.
